The Village Toy Shop Keith Allen, seen here admiring the sign on the Toy Barn, and his wife Judy were two of the first people involved in the creation of Crossroads Village. They each served as officers for the Citizens of Crossroads Village and Friends of Crossroads Village Carousel (FCVC)organizations as well as on the Advisory Board for Crossroads Village. Keith passed away on March 31, 1999 at the age of 83. He will be greatly missed. Judy continues to be actively involved with the Village and the Carousel. Three generations of children have enjoyed his toys. His 5 great-grandchildren ensured he spent much of his time in his workshop. The art of making toys from wood won't be lost. Another generation of toymakers is always in training. |
